Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the tevapp.ai website and the Tev waitlist. They are not the terms for the Tev app — that is a separate agreement you will see before you use it. By browsing this site or joining the waitlist, you accept what follows. If you do not accept it, please do not use the site.

1. Who you are dealing with

tevapp.ai is operated by CODE OF CORE LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17193932, with its registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can contact us at angelina@tevapp.ai.

2. What this website is

This is a marketing and information site for Tev, a video editing product we are building. Everything on it — descriptions of features, the interface shown in illustrations, timelines and launch dates — is a statement of what we intend to build, not a promise of what will exist. Product plans change. Nothing here forms part of a contract to supply anything to you.

The site is free to use. We do not sell anything through it and there is no account to create.

3. The waitlist

You may give us your email address to be told when Tev launches. In doing so:

• You confirm the email address is yours, or that you have permission from its owner to sign it up.
• You consent to us sending you a small number of messages about Tev's launch and early access. We will not send you a general newsletter or anything from a third party.
• You can withdraw that consent at any time, through the unsubscribe link in any message or by emailing us. We handle that as described in our Privacy Policy.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee you access to Tev, access at any particular time, access on any particular terms, or a particular price. Places may be limited, and we may release access gradually, in stages, or to a subset of the list. We may also decline or remove any signup — for example one that is obviously automated, uses a disposable address, or comes from someone abusing the form.

We may change the launch date, change the product, or decide not to launch at all. If that happens, we will tell the list.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• submit an email address that is not yours and that you have no permission to use;
• submit signups automatically, in bulk, or through any script, bot or scraper;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, its database, or any connected system;
• attack the site, including by denial-of-service, or knowingly introduce malicious code;
• scrape, mine, or systematically extract content from the site for reuse;
• reproduce, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site's content without our permission;
• use the site in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.

Some of these are criminal offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Where we believe one has been committed, we will report it to the relevant authorities and cooperate with them, including by disclosing your identity where we lawfully can.

We may withdraw your access to the site or remove you from the waitlist, without notice, if you break this section.

5. Intellectual property

We own or are licensed to use everything on this site: the text, the design, the layout, the graphics, the logo and the underlying code. It is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.

Tev and the Tev mark are our trade marks. Nothing on this site grants you a licence to use them.

You may view the site, and print or download extracts, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may quote from and link to the site fairly, with attribution. Beyond that, you may not copy, adapt or exploit any part of it without our written permission.

6. Links to other sites

Where we link out — to Instagram, for instance — we do so for information only. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for anything on them or for any loss arising from your use of them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave here.

You may link to our home page fairly and legally, in a way that does not damage our reputation or suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. We may withdraw permission to link at any time.

7. Availability and accuracy

We provide this site free of charge and as it is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it without notice.

We take care with the content, but we make no warranty that it is accurate, complete or current. Anything on this site is general information, not advice you should rely on to make a decision. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions.

You are responsible for the equipment and connection you use to reach the site, and for your own security arrangements, including protection against viruses.

8. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable — that is, that was not an obvious consequence of the situation and that neither of us contemplated when you started using the site.
• If you use the site for any commercial or business purpose, we have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
• We are not liable for any loss arising from a third-party site you reached through a link here, or from a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control.

9. Privacy

We handle personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it — it is short, and it explains exactly what happens to a waitlist email address.

10. The Tev app

These terms cover this website only. When Tev is released, it will come with its own terms of service and its own privacy policy, which will govern your use of the app, any subscription you take out, and how your video and audio content is handled. Those terms will be presented to you before you use the app; nothing here commits either of us to them in advance.

11. Changes to the site and to these terms

We may change the site, and we may amend these terms. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Please check back occasionally. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the amended terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. Both of us agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country you live in, and you may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not insist that you do something you are required to do under these terms, or delay in enforcing them, that does not mean we have given up our rights.
